A trip to a motel to “personally evaluate” her skills not uncommon for a young woman looking for a job as a secretary, house cleaner, store clerk or whatever. The higher the salary being offered, the better the piece of ass. Or at least that is the thought.<\/p>\n

Indecent proposals are\u00a0part of the process of getting a job. And though it may upsettting, in many cases it’s shrugged off.\u00a0 Maybe its better it happens up front, rather than after getting the job and having to live through the sexual harassment that usually leads to either giving up the pussy or quit the job.<\/p>\n

So the actions of\u00a0 a young woman denouncing the indicent proposal is news<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The story of Fernanda Badilla, a 22 year-old journalism student, goes like this.<\/p>\n

Fours years ago she registered at an online job website, www.computrababjo.com. This past week, seeking work again, she re-activated her account and promptly gets a phone call for a job offer. Two jobs, in fact.<\/p>\n

Through the popular Whatsapp, Fernanda starts up a conversation with her caller, a man calling himself Sebastian Altamirano, who tells her he represents a company who is an intermediary for another company looking for an executive secretary and an office worker. The monthly salary is impressive: \u00a2787.600 and \u00a2510.500, respectively.<\/p>\n

At first the conversation (texting<\/em>) seemed legit, but as it continued, it turned dark, becoming clear what the caller was looking for.<\/p>\n

He tells our girl that there are 58 applicants for the jobs, but only eight fit the profile. And she is one of the eight. And to give her (and the others) an opportunity to get job, he needs to “personally evaluate” their performance.<\/p>\n

First he asks for a recent photo, a ‘selfie’ in front of the mirror, nothing releaving (that is to say no tits or ass so as not to scare her off). He then asks for a meeting at a motel in San Francisco de Dos Rios, in San Jose’s motel row. And offers our girl \u00a285.000 colones (US$160) as an “advance on her salary”.<\/p>\n

She refused (to send the photos and meet at the motel), deciding to post her experience on Facebook. Fernanda writes, \u201cI realized that this was not right, but I played the game to see how far he would go and so I could alert more women to avoid falling into this filthy game.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, how many do not? Refuse that is, play along with the game, but from a different angle. No pun intended.<\/p>\n

Let’s look at it practically. A young woman needs a job. She has kids. No work. Her baby father(s) are not always reliable. Here is a job opportunity. All she has to do is sleep with the guy.<\/p>\n

She knows it’s probably, most likely a scam, a way of getting her in the sack and there is no job offer. But he is offering \u00a285.000 colones.<\/strong>\u00a0 So, even if there is no job, she will still get paid for her time, her work for today.<\/p>\n

Who will ever know?<\/p>\n

Does that make her a whore? Of course not. It’s not like working the massage parlour or the bars in Gringo Gulch. Those are a prostitutes. She is not.<\/p>\n
