We traveled all the pacific coast of Costa Rica (from Manuel Antonio to Flamingo). We visited the park and went directly to the beach, which is amazing. You easily can spend all the day in the trails (we spent all the day only in the main beach). Bring your cooler with beverages and food because there is no restaurant\/store inside\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Nosara Beach (Playa Guiones) \u2013 #3 of 10<\/h2>\n

Playa Guiones turned out to be the perfect beach for us! My husband must boogie board, and boogie board he did! He found great waves that were perfect. The surfers were out much farther. The beach is long and flat; the water clear, clean and warm! Couldn\u2019t have asked for a better beach.<\/em><\/p>\n

Playa Santa Teresa \u2013 #4 of 10<\/h2>\n

Playa Santa Teresa was a beautiful, huge beach that attracted all types of people and animals (we even saw a man walking his pig one evening!). Everyone begins to gather at about 4 pm on the beach to watch some spectacular sunsets. We ran a few miles along this beach in the early mornings as well. I would definitely go\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Playa Avellanas \u2013 #5 of 10<\/h2>\n

We decided to take some time to check this beach out based on previous Trip Advisor comments. We had a rental car and drove from Tamarindo. Getting there was not difficult as you turn right twice, but the roads are pretty bad. The paved road was full of pot holes, and then once you reach the dirt road, it\u2019s about\u2026<\/p>\n

Playa Hermosa (Santa Teresa ) \u2013 #6 of 10<\/h2>\n

Probably the nicest beach we saw in Costa Rica\u2014 up there with Montezuma and Manuel Antonio. A little difficult to find and a bumpy ride to get there but well worth it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
