To get inside you ring the door buzzer, a click and you’re in.<\/p>\n

A few fee from the door are a number of ladies waiting for you pick her. There is no jealousy here, all the girls are equal, you don’t have to feel guilty picking only one. If you, you can always get two, or another for for a second round. Or third.<\/p>\n

Up the stairs, the price is \u00a213.500 colones (US$25) for 30 minutes, \u00a220.000 colones (US$37) for one hour. Your choice, but I recommend the one hour. A half hour is just too short for a massage, a tug and rub. Forty minutes are about right, but, none of the massage parlours I know offer a 45 minute slot.<\/p>\n

After paying, while you wait for your girl, a trip to the bathroom is order. Empty that bladder, make use the equipment is still intact.<\/p>\n

In the room, the typical is everyone takes their clothes off, lay face down on the bed, she starts rubbing, with a choice of oil or cream.<\/p>\n

Conversation is not a requirement. I typically shy away from any personal questions, the usual: name, where you from, etc, etc. My massage parlour name is Giovanni, Francisco, Juan, whatever. Hey, not here for the conversation. And giving too many details is just “too personal” and really of no importance.<\/p>\n

However,\u00a0 a sense of humour, a touch of personality on your part will help set the mood. If you both “click” fantastic, if not, remember why are there.<\/p>\n

After the deed, a shower is offered. I prefer to shower at home (or the hotel when I am travelling). First, very few places have hot water. The soap is typically the dime a dozen variety from the flea market. I don’t carry my hair brush (or comb), deodorant, etc. I don’t know anyone who does.<\/p>\n

A few pointers on massage parlours:<\/p>\n

• Try not to get too comfortable during the massage, it may affect your hydraulic system.<\/li>\n
• This purely a business transaction: you pay, you leave.<\/li>\n
• Get the girl’s phone number if you like the service, you can call ahead next time to make she is working, if not, when and if change location…<\/li>\n
• Carry only the amount of money you are going to spend. If you decide on taking a shower, you will probably be leaving you valuables in the room, don’t bring any.<\/li>\n
• Turn off you cellular phone or at least put it on vibrating. Nothing kills the mood with a ringing phone.<\/li>\n
• Always be courteous. Your sexual experience may not be what you had expected, not necessarily all her fault.<\/li>\n
• Most important of all, enjoy yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
