(CRS) Guys, want to me some of the sexiest ladies in Costa Rica? Head on over to “Café con cuerpo” (Coffee with body), a new cafeteria-restaurant in San Jose, where models serve up your food.

No, it is not as ‘whorehouse’ or ‘massage parlour’, it is a real restaurant, with real food and drings (no alcohol) and lots of pretty girls to serve you.

The idea is from Marcela Negrini and Diana Ibarra, two local models.

In addition, the models turned restaurant entrepreneurs, promise a cozy place with a varied menu and affordable prices.

The specially here is that serving tables are some of the sexiest waitresses in the country.

According to the Marcela and Diana, the waitresses accentuate their physical attributes, but without being vulgar. The girls are not familiar faces, they were selected from a casting call over three days. “All are cheerful and cute, careful not to be vulgar, and at the same time smart to provide an excellent service,” explained Negrini.

“People can find everything from breakfast like the typical gallo pinto to a wrap of strawberries and nutella. Same goes with lunches and desserts, where we have the more traditional options or the most elaborate at affordable prices,” said Ibarra.

Ibarra added that the cafeteria is for all age groups.

Café con cuerpo is located 200 metres south of the Quiznos on Paseo Colon, open from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

The official opening will be on Thursday, October 20.

The 4^th edition of Oktober Beerfest in Costa Rica will take place on October 15-16 at the Parque Viva in Alajuela

 

In an effort to find a singular “tico” flavor, the Costa Rica Craft Brewers Association began a local movement that forever changed the country’s beer culture. Since 2011, the popularity of microbreweries has taken over the nation, making San Jose the center of this movement.

In celebration of Costa Rica’s craft beer revolution, local and international companies will come together to celebrate Oktober Beerfest in a tropical setting. For the last four years, the festival has become one of the largest platforms for small and established breweries to showcase their unique offerings.

“We are expecting to set a new record for the festival’s 4th edition with over 2,000 more attendees than last year,” said Pablo Formal, coordinator of Oktober Beerfest. “We want this event to continue to bring family and friends together, as well as to bring awareness of Costa Rica’s artisanal craft beer scene.”

With an expected attendance of 14,000 people, the event will feature authentic German fare including brezels (Bavarian-style pretzels) and sausages, live music from national and international artists, as well as an impressive selection of more than 200 beers.

The event will begin Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to midnight and continue on Sunday, Oct. 16 from noon to 10 p.m. at Parque Viva (Viva Park) in Alajuela.

Laura Palacio, Cristina Camargo and Marcela Gutiérrez will be in Costa Rica tonight (Thursday Septemebr 29) to present the new collection of Chamela brand lingerie to Costa Rica. The event will take place in the El Exito Betancur ballroom in San Jose, starting at 8:00pm.

Laura Palacio, at 29 has been modelling for the past night. Is a fashion designer and holds the crown for the Miss World Colombia 2010. The Colombiana enjoys modelling lingerie, though she confesses that before doing so she was very apprehensive.

“At first I was shy about going on stage in underwear, but one gets used to it and is the most work I do. I felt shy, but eventually lost my shyness. For me it is with pride to model this Colombian brand,” said Laura.

At 28, Cristina Camargo has been modeling and taking part in beauty pageants for the last eight, starting at 15. For her modeling underwear is “all natural”. Cristina was Miss Atlantic 2008, works sporadically in communication, but most of her time is devoted to modeling and image consulting services.

“Sometimes people stigmatize it and want to shame you for the intimacy, but it’s as we were at the beach,” says Cristina.

This is the fourth time social communication with an emphasis on public relations visits Costa Rica, and regrets it is only for work. “I’m starting my brand of beauty products, with them I seek to empower women. I see myself as a successful entrepreneur and consultant in beauty,” she said.

Marcela Gutierrez is another model with more than a decade of experience in the modeling. At 28, her career in modeling began 13 years ago in Colombian youth contests.

Exploring different facets of the modeling profession, Marcela discovered that lingerie is on her favourites. Marcela is completing her studies in Business Administration, and working at promoting her boxing gym.

“I started boxing three years ago, I liked it so much I decided to have my own gym. It’s the only sport I play, I do not like competitions,” she said.

“Boxing gives you discipline, perseverance and also helps me stay in shape. All of this benefits me in modeling,” she said. Marcela will also soon be launching her own clothing brand – in which is already working on – and become a mother.

It is said that men in general suffer depression less than women. Personally, moving and living in a foreign country, away from family, friends and the familiar, can lead to depression setting in

Isolation is at the top of my list reasons why expat monger men get depressed. But it can be overcome. Expat monger men who are not working or have purpose to their day in expat land have a tendency to isolate. Learning a new language and find friends to connect with can be overwhelming. If the isolation continues for too long (depending on the individual) depression can set in.

Find something to do, something you love, involves other people and not just the working girls for the hourly session. Hanging out at known monger bars can be healthy. Getting out of your comfort zone, even for short periods, connecting with other expats is a must. But just connecting is not enough, establishing relationships, bonds, sharing similar interests, is very important.

Routines are a killer. Shake things up, don’t be visiting the same bar, same massage parlour, same working girl. At the usual same time of day or night. Sometimes the routine seems comforting, familiar, therein lies the danger.

You have to get the blood pumping, the hydraulic system working, release the pent-up stress and tension of daily life as an expart monger man in expat land. Visit a new bar, that massage parlour you’ve heard so much about, call the number of the girl your new found friends have been raving baout. Get distracted by someone different today and tomorrow and the next.

You’re not only an expat, if you are reading this, you are a monger. Stop judging or criticizing yourself for that. There is nothing wrong with being a monger.

Many expat monger men have unreasonable high expectations of themselves and those they associate with. Anything short of perfection can get you down on yourself.

You don’t have to appear to have it all together. Don’t feel that everyone else has it together except you, believe me they don’t. I’ve had the privilege of knowing many expat monger men whom I thought had it all together, later to learn they were just like me.

Since it’s impossible to really know what’s in the head of a fellow monger, I suggest you stop comparing. Focus on your well-being, your needs, your wants and desires. It’s pure myth your fellow mongers aren’t feeling the same way, that they have their shit together and you don’t.

Depression can be devastating. It doesn’t matter if you are young or experienced expat monger man, feelings of depression can be overwhelming. Dealing with them, taking my suggestions and monitoring your negativity, you’ll be surprised at much better you will feel.

Where you can practice public nude yoga in Costa Rica? Very few places offer a clothing-optional atmosphere. However, there are many beaches and parks remote enough to practice nudity without being harassed by passersby or the authorities.

In Costa Rica, modelo and escort is actually a code name for a woman who will show up to perform sexual acts in exchange for money; prostitutes (prostitutas or putas) are found in bars, discos and brothels (massage parlours in Costa Rica).

But many times the model is an escort who is also a prostitute, the difference being the price point: while a prostitute charges x, an escort charges y, the modelo typically up to 10 times or more of x and y.

Another difference is their stationing, while escorts can be ordered from a catalogue, modelos are typically from personal contacts, messaging apps or social media; prostitutes are typically in a fixed location, waiting for customers.

So, in my example, while the escort is usually a prostitute, the modelo is a like a “prostitute plus” – one who may provide additional services beyond just a sexual encounter.

In Costa Rica, it seems some men actually employ modelos for the purposes of escorting. At high society events, you may see women on men’s arms who are modelos or ‘social escorts’ if you will. Of course, I’m thinking it’s likely that AFTER the social events they have sex with their clients as well.

Modelos also can go on long trips with clients, whereas escorts typically are available for overnight bookings and prostitutes for short time, an hour or two, at most.

An even more interesting use for modelos is to bring home to the family for social appearance and status, possibly to hide a sexual preference. It is said that in Costa Rica half of the men are gay, and half of the women are lesbian.

Thus, it is socially beneficial for a man who doesn’t want to come of the closet to be seen in company of modelos. The same can be said for women, though, given that Costa Rica society does not yet accept an older woman escorted by model of the opposite sex, it is socially acceptable to be in the company of a model of the same sex.

Important to note that being paid for sex does not mean full intercourse, but can be any act in which a person’s erogenous zones or genitals are being touched, aroused in any way, naked or clothed, in private or public, in exchange for payment.

While escorts and prostitutes provide sex as part of their services, modelos on the other hand, to legitimize their status and not be classed as a prostitute, simply arranges for companionship.  You are paying for the modelo’s company, now if somehow, someway during that time there is sex, the modelo can (will) claim that the payment was not for sex, ergo not a prostitute, but for the companionship, the sex, if admitted to, was for mutual attraction. “I would have fucked without any money,” is the typical justification.

So, in this example, the modelo that is now not a prostitute or escort, but a whore?

Whatever the justification, typically the mutual attraction is in exchange for a benefit, it can be in cash, or  car or a house. Ergo, since there was no established arrangement for sex beforehand, it is a legitimate defense against being labelled a prostitute.

The core product is same but the packaging is different.

A prostitute is seen as inexpensive, a low-priced product, if you will, while an escort is medium priced product and the modelo being the premium priced. This is akin to the pricing of a seat on a plane, while seat in economy, business or first class will get you to the same place, it’s in the way you travel to your destination that changes.

In summing up: a prostitute is anyone who sells sex for money; an escort is someone who sells sex and companionship for money; a modelo is someone who sell companionship, that may or may not have sex for money. And a whore doesn’t know the difference between being a prostitute, an escort and a modelo.

There are already reports to open a Fellatio Cafe in Geneva, Switzerland, which is expected to open at the end of this year. And London may be next.

The past couple of years London has seen smoothie bars with live owls and a naked restaurant, but the next novelty opening is set to be the most surreal, controversial, anger-inducing and inevitably popular yet.

Here’s how it would work: Customers can choose which escort they want to give them a blowjob by skimming through thumbnails on an iPad.

The fee is US$65, but for every added 15 minutes, customers will have to shell out an extra US$13.

There’s an age limit for the sex workers,  and male customers, they must 18 or older.

According to the report by The Independent, in an interview with the representative of the company promoting the Fellatio Café, BumPix (the escort company spearheading the blowjob cafe movement in the UK), said waitresses will strictly sell coffee, while the sex workers will be the ones to perform the oral sex.

He also pointed out the coffee shop will only serve coffee and not other indulgences like alcohol or ice cream, and that their bar idea was inspired by Thailand.

As he is a quiet man he asks the girl nothing, rather to better place cameras throughout the house.  Pervert.

The next day when the girl returns to the apartment, the pervert goes to work as usual and leaves the cameras on to record everything that happens while he’s not in his apartment.
